No two strollers are alike. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors and price ranges. So when you are shopping for the right stroller for you and your child it is important to research all of the accessories and features that come with each model. If you find a stroller that you absolutely love but, it doesn't come with a feature that you want, don't let that be the defining reason why you don't choose to make the purchase. Like any large purchase, weigh all of the pros and cons first. If the only thing that is preventing you from buying the stroller you like is that it doesn't come with a cup holder or rain guard, then you will want research universal stroller accessories or ones that are sold separately from the stroller company.
While there are many positives to buying a stroller that comes with multiple accessories, you run a serious risk if they end up not living up to your expectations. That is another reason why I stress NOT buying a stroller based solely on its bonus features. Buying a stroller is a major purchase for both you and your child and you need to make sure that it fits all of your needs before buying. While you should never buy a stroller based on whether or not it comes with a certain accessory, you should also not let its lack of accessories prevent you from buying either.

For example: a stroller is cheaply made and does not come with reputable safety reviews but, it does come with a free travel bag and set of stroller hooks. This is NOT acceptable ever. Your baby's safety comes first and you should never buy something based on its coming with freebies. Another example: You have found the perfect stroller. It is safe, fashionable, affordable but, it does not come with a built in cup holder. Otherwise, it is the perfect purchase and no other model can compete with the one you ultimately wish to buy. In this situation, you should buy the stroller and then proceed to research a universal cup holder that will fit the stroller. Sites like Amazon.com are perfect for situations like this! They offer lower price options as well as numerous reviews in order to make the best purchase possible.
