Instead, the company sent hinge covers for the carriage hinge in order to minimize the risk. This was not well received by most of the people who lost faith they had in this large company. They switched brands and opted for safer strollers from other companies.
This move of Mclaren to recall all their strollers has a devastating impact on the company. Today, Mclaren still manufactures strollers, but after the Mclaren Triumph stroller fiasco people are thinking twice before investing the money on something that can be potentially dangerous for the child.
